Google Pixel 6 Series-Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro has released a mid-month update to the surprise of the Pixel community. Google usually rolls out an update at the beginning of the month and therefore, this mid-month update is deemed as a security update to fix something critical.
Check out the Google Glass Explorer Edition XE V2.
The patch is relatively small-sized at 15MB and comes with a minor change in the build number from SD1A.210817.036 to SD1A.210817.037. Since the tech giant hasn't published a changelog yet, Pixel 6 owners will have to download the update and experience the changes first hand.
Verizon has stated that the update brings two notable changes. "The current software update provides performance improvements and the most up-to-date Android security patches on your device," reads the Verizon website. "The current software update improves the performance of your device's fingerprint sensor," adds the website.
Since the official launch of Google Pixel 6 Series phones, several users in the past had complained that the fingerprint sensor is unreliable. After the new security update, some of the Reddit users have claimed improved speed and reliability of the fingerprint sensor. While others are still unhappy about the fingerprint sensor even after the mid-November update.
