Gamers have missed E3 during the pandemic, as it forced them to stay at home. However, next year, E3 gaming is coming back with its in-person experience. The event is coming back next summer through gaming organizers: ReedPop, who are behind PAX and have collaborated with Entertainment Software Association (ESA). The grand EA gaming event return is going to happen at Los Angeles Convention Centre [LACC] from June 13 to June 16 in 2023.
Even though the event will take place for four days, June 13 and 14 will be specifically for media personalities already registered for press releases. This purpose is to conduct gaming meetings, increase networking chances, and have hands-on media coverage for showcasing games. However, the real E3 gaming excitement starts on June 15 and 16, when gamers will finally be able to get their hands on the latest game demos.
And just like earlier E3 gaming events, an onstage live representation and theater will be taking place too. Excitingly, with roaring crowds to respond to newer titles. These deep dives will also bring exciting future games for 2023 and the coming years. Beyond these in-person events, E3 gaming will lift off its wings online through unique partnered online events for global fans. Luckily for international fans, these events will start early from June 11 and run the whole week.
Two years of E3 gaming cancellation (2020 and 2021) have disheartened many gamers and emptied the pockets of event programmers. Since E3 is a gaming cultural event, the expectation, hype, and desire for major triple-A games to be showstoppers are understated. ReedPop realizes the situation, and Kyle Marsden-Kish (VP of gaming) commented how they want to reunite the industry by re-establishing the E3 gaming week tradition once more to spark the global magic amongst gamers and developers.
It is excellent news that the game event programmers focus on bringing the E3 gaming event back to its former prime. Gamers hardly had the vacuum left during the past two years replaced by any in-person experience of the same magnitude. Major Xbox and Sony releases also had to take place online due to pandemic restrictions. Gamers did not have any other event outlet where they could travel and celebrate the gaming experience. Online, the excitement has already risen, as people want to get back into LACC walls and cheer on their favorite games.
