Have a Look at Honor Magic V

Honor’s first foldable flagship phone is in the pipeline. The company today teased images of its new foldable on Twitter, Honor Magic V.

A report from the Elec stated that the phone will have an 8.03-inch inner screen and a 6.45-inch outer screen. The company didn't reveal any details in the Twitter post. It might be a long wait to know about the other features of the phone.

The mobile phone manufacturer has in the past expressed its dreams for creating a foldable phone.  In 2019, Honor CEO George Zhao told CNET that he was considering creating a foldable phone. But he was worried about the response to the product from the company's younger target market. Honor Magic V might be pocket-friendly considering its target market.

Honor will be joining major players entering the foldable arena including OnePlus. The foldable segment of the smartphone arena is getting increasingly noticed. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is garnering excellent sales figures around the world. According to a report from Strategy Analytics, Samsung likely sold about 1.02 million foldables in 2019 and 2020 combined in the US.

Even though foldable phones came into the market a few years ago, it is still new for consumers. The main attraction of a foldable phone is its flexibility. It is a device that can be positioned between a smartphone and a tablet.
