OnePlus's flagship device for 2022, the OnePlus 10 Pro was launched in China today. The smartphone is the first to house Qualcomm's brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. This is the first launch from OnePlus after its merger with Oppo. The 10 Pro is deemed to be the company's top flagship product for this year. This smartphone is the most advanced from the OnePlus product line.
OnePlus 10 Pro Performance
As mentioned, the smartphone is the first from the phone arena to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The chipset boasts improved performance and better power efficiency. The chipset is coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage which should enable the phone to flawlessly handle any task with speed.

OnePlus 10 Pro Camera
The smartphone features a new and improved camera owing to the company's partnership with Hasselblad. OnePlus seems to have eschewed the monochrome system. The smartphone highlights a 48MP wide, 50MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto lens with the ultrawide lens capable of a wide 150-degree field-of-view (FoV). To achieve 150-degree FoV, users will have to adjust it in the camera app's settings. The default FoV is set at 110-degree.
The 10 Pro houses a 32MP selfie camera. This megapixels of the selfie camera has doubled compared to the phone's older sibling. All three lenses on the rear support 10-bit color capture and 12-bit RAW capture on all three lenses. Optical image stabilization is also present.
OnePlus 10 Pro Battery Life
The 10 Pro features a 5,000mAh battery which is significantly more powerful than the battery in the 9 Pro. The latter is able to live up to 1.5 days on a single charge. Considering the former's battery capacity, users should be able to squeeze out at least two days without charging the phone.
OnePlus 10 Pro Charging
The smartphone can charge at 80W with the help of the charger and the USB-C cable included in the package. Users can also achieve a 50W wireless charging speed using the OnePlus charging stand. The phone has reverse wireless charging as well.

Welcome ColorOs 12.1
OnePlus has also fitted its 2022 flagship with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 for the models sold in China. However, reports suggest that the company will launch the phone with OxygenOS in other markets. The ColorOS 12.1 will possesses several features including AI Self-Smoothing Engine 2.1, Ultra-HD Enhanced Picture Quality. Cross-screen Interconnection, Flashback Window, Video Continuation, Free Translation, etc.
The operating system also has a new gaming feature called HyperBoost to provide an optimum gaming experience for graphic-intensive games.

OnePlus 10 Pro Price
OnePlus 10 Pro has been launched in three variants: 8GB+ 128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB configurations. These phones are priced at CYN 4699, CYN 4999, and CYN 5299 respectively. The phone will be available in two color options; Volcanic black and Emerald forest.
Buyers in China can get the phone starting January 13. The company hasn't revealed when the phone would hit foreign markets.
