Samsung will stop the production of its Galaxy Note series by the end of this year. Reportedly, the Galaxy Note series was excluded from the 2022 annual smartphone production plan of the tech giant.
The Galaxy Note Series is famous among users especially the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has been a very popular smartphone in the market. The tech company sold 12.7 million units of the Galaxy Note series in 2019 and 9.7 million units in 2020 alone.

The specialty of the Galaxy Note series is its S-Pen or the Stylus. Samsung fitted a Stylus for its recently released Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3 hoping to give users a similar experience as that of the Galaxy Note series. However, these phones are yet to capture the attention that the Galaxy Note series has received.
According to a report from ETNews, Samsung is integrating the Note Series lineup to the Galaxy S21 Ultra released earlier this year by installing the S Pen handwriting input. The report added that the Galaxy S22 Ultra that will be released early next year will feature the overall product design and the core functions of the Galaxy Note including the S-Pen.
Samsung is stopping the production of the Galaxy Note phones to give more focus to their foldable phones. This decision is to stabilize the foldable production and reduce costs by improving process efficiency.
