Samsung To Launch the Galaxy S21 FE

Putting all rumors to rest, Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy S21 FE. The new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will join the midrange lineup of the Samsung Galaxy S Series. The tech company has retained most of the specs featured in the Samsung Galaxy S21 including the Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Apart from the size difference, the S21 FE shares most feature with its older sibling. It shares the same design as well with the camera bump on the rear of the phone blending in smoothly with its side. The back is made of composite plastic with a matte finish.'

The phone sports a 6.4-inch display with a 1080p OLED panel. The refresh rate stands at 120Hz. The main camera is 12MP with optical stabilization. The new S21 FE will run on Samsung’s Android 12-based One UI 4.0.

Another difference between the Galaxy S21 FE and the S21 is the battery capacity. While the latter features a 4000 mAh battery, the former is powered by a 4500 mAh battery. The rest of the features including fast 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, an IP68 weather-resistance rating, and sub6-GHz 5G and speedy mmWave 5G are features from the S21.

Samsung Galaxy S21 will give you more RAM, 8GB in the base configuration compared to the S21 FE’s 6GB. The latter also accompanies a higher resolution telephoto camera.

According to a report, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version will be sold at $699 and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version will be priced at $769.
