OnePlus has revealed the launch date of its 10 Pro smartphone. The company has confirmed that the OnePlus 10 Pro is coming on January 11 at 2 PM Chinese time.
The company has teased images of the upcoming flagship but hasn't revealed any specs of the device. Addressing his followers on Weibo, Pete Lau, Co-founder, and CEO of OnePlus said that specifications are not the essential part of a smartphone. "Specs are just the base of a phone - to be a flagship, it needs to have outstanding performance." OnePlus seems to focus on the performance and efficiency of the phone to attract its target audience.
From the pictures, the design of the phone is sleek with a camera bump on the left featuring three cameras and a ring flash. The phone will be available in emerald green and volcanic black.
It is expected to house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a 50MP main camera on the back. The screen will probably be a 6.7” Super AMOLED with 1440p resolution, but with an evolved LTPO 2.0 technology for “enhanced smoothness”, according to a report.
Landing pages for the OnePlus 10 Pro will be available globally next Tuesday which will reveal prices for the phone.
