The new iPhone product line might soon be here. According to a media report, the new iPhone family will launch on September 7. iPhone 14 release date is set for September 16. The launch will include "multiple new Macs, low-end and high-end iPads, and three Apple Watch models". The iPhone 14 release date rumors are despite the ongoing chip shortage.
Virtual Event
The company plans to hold a virtual launch event continuing the pandemic tradition. Reportedly, Apple employees have already begun recording parts of the presentation over the past few weeks.
Apple usually unveils the latest iPhones in the first half of September and it is expected to be the same this time as well. Looking at past Apple launch events, the tech giant releases its phone a week and a half after the launch, which coincides with September 16, iPhone 14 release date.
iPhone 14
Apple is expected to launch four new iPhones on September 7, namely, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Rumors state that there probably won't be an iPhone 14 mini, instead, users will get an iPhone 14 Max. The standard iPhone 14 will look similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 13.
The iPhone 14 Pro phones are reported to see some major changes. The tech giant will replace the notch featuring the front-facing camera with a pill-shaped hole for Face ID sensors and a tiny hole-sized area for the camera, freeing up some screen space. The Cupertino-based tech company is also introducing a faster chip to the iPhone 14 Pro. However, all the other iPhone 14 models will retain the A15 chip from the iPhone 13 product line.
The most significant change to iPhone 14 Pro is the camera system. Reports cite that the iPhone 14 camera will appear slightly larger to users. The Pro models will feature a 48MP wide-angle camera with a 12 MP ultrawide lens and telephoto sensors. Apple is also making improvements to video recording and battery life. Leaks suggest that iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will have 8K recording capability.
Apple Watch
The latest release of Apple watches, referred to as the Series 8 is also coming with new features including features for women’s health and a body-temperature sensor. The standard watch is the same as the Series 7 in terms of design, however, the new pro model is aimed at users more into sports. It is rumored to have a larger display, rugged titanium enclosure, new fitness tracking features, and more battery life. There are also reports about an Apple Watch SE, which is the budget-friendly version of Apple smartwatches.
