On the heels of three tech giants releasing new gadgets, Motorola might also be working on releasing a new gadget, Motorola G51 5G, for its customers. As spotted by Phonearena, TechnikNews published a brief article stating that the company will add another phone to its 50 series in November.
The new handset "is listed under the model number "XT2171-1" and developed under the code name Cyprus 5G," according to the source. The report states that the new phone features a full HD+ display along with four cameras, three on the back and a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The main camera is 50MP with an ultra-wide-angle 8MP camera that also doubles as a depth sensor.
Check out the Moto G Pure, 3/32GB, 13MP Camera phone that is priced at $159.99.
The report doesn't cite anything about the display or the refresh rate. The existing phones of the 50 series, G50 and G50 5G (128GB, 4GB) 6.5" 90Hz Display, 2 Day Battery, Dual SIM GSM Unlocked Euro 5G Only) is equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate with a 6.5-inch display. The Motorola G51 5G is also seeing a major improvement in terms of the camera compared to the G50 5G version's 48MP, 2MP, 2MP triple camera setup.
There is no news about the release date of the phone or the price bracket it will be put in. But reports state that it would belong to the budget-friendly bracket.
Additionally, the Moto G71 was just recently spotted in an FCC filing, going by the XT2169-1 model number, previously associated with the "Corfu" codename. The G71 is a 5G handset featuring dual-SIM support and n5, n7, n66, n77, and n78 5G bands. The FCC filing also mentions an MC00 series charger and an NG50 battery pack with a 5,000 mAh capacity.
