Both the phones follow the Infinity-O design with small bezels. They feature a 6.8 inch display with dynamic AMOLED 2x technology, Quad HD Plus resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Therefore, the S22 Ultra performs well in portrait mode with sharper edges. It also has an improved 108MP main sensor that features a wider aperture and a brighter lens to collect more light. Video can be recorded at 4K, 30/60fps, and 1080p, 30fps.
Performance
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 and Samsung Exynos 2100, depending on the region of the user. While the S22 features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200, depending on the region of the user. This means that S22 Ultra has improved performance compared to S21 Ultra. However, the S21 has more RAM, 12/16GB RAM, compared to the S22 Ultra 8/12GB RAM. More RAM can give you an edge when it comes to switching through multiple apps. Both devices are based on Android 12. The S21 Ultra has One UI 4.0 from the latest update while S22 Ultra comes with One UI 4.1 out of the box. Considering that the latter is the new device it will get more updates than the S21.
Battery Life
Both the phones feature a 5000 mAh battery that provides good battery life. They can last roughly for 6 hours on a full charge. Both phones possess 15W Qi wireless charging. The S22 Ultra supports Samsung's fastest 45W charging speeds while the S21 supports 25W charging. Both devices possess reverse wireless charging, Wireless Powershare, which lets you charge earbuds on the back of the device.

The S21 Ultra is priced at $1199.99 for the base 128GB model while the S22 Ultra costs $1199.99 for the base 128GB model. The 1TB S22 Ultra is priced at $1599.99. Galaxy S22 Ultra comes in Black, White, Burgundy, Green, Red, Sky Blue, Graphite while the Galaxy S21 Ultra comes in Black, Silver, Navy, Brown, Titanium.

What Is the Unique Feature that Distinguishes Galaxy S22 Ultra?
The Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with an enclosed S-pen. While the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra does support S-pen, it has to be bought separately. Since the former is influenced by the Note design, it accompanies an enclosed S-pen which is useful for easily editing images on the phone or just doodling in your free time.
